Terms
The deal between your group and us, in plain English.
Who can use it
Schools, P&Cs, childcare centres, clubs, charities and community groups raising money for their own cause. Whoever signs up must be allowed to act for the group. We check each group before its pages go public, and we can decline or pause a group that isn’t genuine.
Your money
Payments go straight into your group’s own Square account and never pass through us. Square’s own terms and fees apply to that account.
Our fee
The fee your group agreed to at sign-up, shown on the pricing page and in your console. Square takes it from each payment before the rest reaches you. When you refund a buyer, the matching share of our fee is refunded too. Your fee only goes up if one of your group’s owners agrees.
Your fundraiser
You’re responsible for what you sell and describe, for handing it over, for refunds, and for any permits your fundraiser needs, such as a raffle permit. Buyers’ questions about an order go to your group.
Buyers’ details
Use them only to run your fundraiser: confirmations, the draw, pickup and texts about the order. Don’t add them to mailing lists or pass them on. See Privacy.
Your records
You can download your orders as a spreadsheet at any time. If you leave, or if we ever stop, we’ll give you notice and time to download them.
What we promise, and what we can’t
We work hard to keep the site running and your data safe, but we can’t promise it will never be unavailable. We aren’t responsible for Square’s service. Nothing here takes away your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
Changes
If these terms change in a way that matters to your group, we’ll email its owners first.
